I want a makeover. I need a makeover. I deserve a makeover!
I have been dropping hints to MM about this for some time, saying things like, "I would so LOVE IT if Clinton and Stacey would drop by and surprise me with a $5,000 shopping spree.... you know... on that show, "What Not To Wear"? Boy, that would be so cool if someone who really loved me nominated me for the show. Stacey would leap out from behind a bush and then I'd go to New York and get a whole new wardrobe! Wouldn't that be COOL?"
MM: "Hmmmm..."
I try again. "Because that would be awesome and it would cost us NOTHING and I would get professional advice and and learn how to look hip, cool... and all that. Y'know what I mean?"
MM: "Uh-huh."
OK, not the desired response.
It doesn't look like I am going to be on the show anytime soon. I'm on my own. I wasn't feeling too good about showing my flab to millions of Americans in the circular mirror ANYWAY. But I need to do something, so let's start with hair... I tried a few celebrity styles and I just don't know which one looks best. Help?
Gwyneth Paltrow:
Eva Longoria:
Debra Messing:
Camilla Belle:
Cameron Diaz:
Jennifer Hudson:
Jennifer Garner:
Jennifer Aniston:
Jada Pinkett-Smith:
Heidi Klum:
Kyra Sedgwick:
Jessica Biel:
Jennifer Lopez:
Taylor Momsen:
Taraji Henson:
Nicole Ritchie:
Lauren Conrad:
Kate Winslet:
Who ARE these people anyway?
You can go play with this software here and also make yourself glamorous with a bit of makeup and change your eye colour if you so desire. Like here where I gave myself violet, green and blue eyes.
Whaddya reckon?

23 brilliant observations:
Ooh-I like the Cameron Diaz...but maybe not blond?
Then again, I am nowhere near qualified to give out fashion advice...so don't take me super seriously.
But, I DO love LOVE Stacey and Clinton. So much so that my roommate and I made a work video for our dress code parody-ing that show. I was Stacey.
I wish Clinton were my gay best friend.
And wow, Kyra Sedgewick has some serious roots going on! Love it!
Cameron or Jessica's style, Camilla's color. Love the green eyes on you too ;-)
And LOVE that show. I'll nominate you if you nominate me!
While I wouldn't know Taraji Henson if she walked up and asked me to dance, I do like her hair on you.
And you do realize, of course, that in order to qualify for WNTW, you'd have to spend a good couple of weeks wearing trashy clothes and doing your hair with a taffy puller so they'll have all that nasty footage to bag on you with.
Could you handle that? Cuz in the few pix you've posted of yourself you've seemed, unfortunately, fairly normal.
I wish I could get the makeover dude to come and spring a surprise on ya, but honey.........you are gorgeous! I wouldn't "do" any of the other people's hair. You are too hot to mess with....I'm sure that what MM meant when he said "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" (dumb man language).
Hey the last one is kinda cool --what's wrong with you photo on your profile --looks great. I'd love to throw out all my cloths and start new ----(oh and I liked the Jessica Beil as well)
You look hot in all them photos. I need a makeover too, if you nominate me for What not to Wear, I will nominate you. Two bloggy friends meet together for the first time on national TV, I think they will totally eat it up.
I like the Jennifer Hudson best on you - but the Jessica Biel is good on you, too. The Nicole Ritchie cut is cute, but don't do it in blond. What a fun program! I am desperately in need of a haircut, too, and I found a different Cameron Diaz cut that I like. We'll see!
:~D
I agree with Wendy, I like your profile picture. I tried that makeover website. N.O.T P.R.E.T.T.Y.
Cameron Diaz or Laura whatserface, definitely. How fun, I want to do that too!
Girl.. you look pretty in a ll of those pictures... but i think you look prettiest in your own profile picture :)
yeah..i would LOVE to get a $5000 shopping spree Visa Card :)
by the way...
i have something for you over on my blog today :)
The Eva Longoria one would look good.
I don't want one. I try to bring myself up to being out in public but a makeover wouldn't work. I'm not pretty to start with, with good facial features. There's just no way a makeover can get around that. If we could just pick out our own DNA.
I had a picture all picked out, but then I started reading all the comments and now I can't remember which one it was...
Jennifer Garner, baby. Go with that do and Stacy and Clinton will be banging down your door.
I like the Cameron Diaz one but darker...and I'm liking the Taraji Henson too I think. You know I always thought that 5000 they give the contestants and then go to high end boutiques would only get them a few outfits...see now, I could go to Kohl's with 5000 and buy me the whole store :)
Taraji Henson!! Who is she anyway?
I can't wait to do this!!
I'm with Kristina. I want Clinton to be my gay best friend. He's awesome.
Looks like a fun website. I'm going to check it out!
Hope you have a blessed and beautiful weekend!
♥ HUGS ♥
That is too fun :) It's to hard to choose, what did you decide? :)
i love it!! you are so cute but I love an olive skinned woman with a lighter eye. It really makes you "pop". that would be a neat make over. subtle. I wonder if people would really notice. Give it a try and tell me.
